Used it a couple of times to clean small carburetors. I put hot water in it and it and took about 10 minutes to bring it up about 30 degs C almost 2 gal of water. For an ultrasonic cleaner it was very quite. Controls were easy and worked well. Cleaned carbs much better than my old cleaner. Haven’t had any of the problems others said they had. Worked well out of the box.Was happy to see the Amazon driver deliver this package. Was a little scared because the cardboard box it came in said 10 liter but a little sticker from the distributor said six liter. After opening, the unit itself had the model number for a 10 liter and after reading the instruction book, that model number was a 10 liter machine. To be truly sure, I filled it with ten liters of water and it did not overfill.I’m using this unit to clean small carburetors for lawn mowers and snowblowers as well as small engines in radio controlled models. I just threw several carburetors and parts after unboxing and the results were excellent. A tip I saw online was to only fill the unit with water, then the parts you’re cleaning are put into small Tupperware tubs with the cleaning solution you’re using. For small jobs, you don’t use excessive solution and any small parts are contained in the tub. These units take awhile to heat up but if using the water method, run your tap on hot for awhile and pour in the hot water. Everything will up to temperature quickly so you can get to work quickly. This unit is a bit noisy but not as much as some units out there. I put mine on a rubber pad and it runs more quiet. Overall a great little unit...I guess the rule is to order double the capacity which I should have gotten a 6L for my carbs. This 4.5L holds just under 3L of water but it seems to be a good one, doesn’t vibrate as much as I thought it would so it’s pretty quiet with the lid off. Start off with hot water because it takes a long time to heat upMy husband LOVES this thing. He cleans eveything in it. Great value for the price. Works great!I really like this ultrasonic cleaner. I was hoping that it was larger, but it really cleans well and it can heat the solution to clean better.Filled with hot water up to fill line. Put parts in a ziplock bag. Fill ziplock with enough hot water and a splash or two of Super Clean. Zip up and place into the water. I used heat of 50C and holy cow were them parts sparkling clean after two 5 minute cycles.Opened the box and did a quick inspection. Didn't look close enough after I took the baskets out and fought to get them separated. Mixed up some solution to test and set some tools rto see about knocking some rust off.Turned it on and the breaker tripped. Reset and tried again. Picked up to move and solution hit the floor. Took a second to realize it was coming from the bottom of the unit.Looked the well area over again and found on of the welds cracked the bottom of the well.Unit is going back and I'll try another brand.Works really well!!! The size is perfect not too big and not too small. Gives you a bigger range of items that will fit.
